AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION THE ALL-BLACK EIGHT. SYDNEY, March 9. Since its arrival the New Zealand eight oar crew has undertaken considerable hard practice.. On Saturday, in connection with the Iron Cove regatta, it gave an exhibition of row work that pleased the onlookers. The crew are regarded as a. strong combination and one critic -says the oars took the water cleanly, but arc inclined to finish sharply. In calm water they should press their opponents, but in rough water the home competitors would be the more fancied.
