EBERT’S FUNERAL. BERLIN. March 4
When the funeral procession of the late 'President Ebert wended through the thronged streets decorated in black and Republican colours, it halted at the steps of the Reichstag, and there a crowd of 200.000 .silently listened to a funeral oration by Herr Zoebe, President of the Reichstag. The cortex. which seemingly was interminable. was accompanied by Reichswehr police and bands. The hearse, followed by coaches laden with wreaths, proceeded to the railway station, wiience the body was taken to Heidelberg for interment width will bo made a simple ceremony to-morrow near the graves of President Ebert’s father and mother.
