IVBI.I.TXGTOX, Min'd, 2, At the Methodist Conference the Rev. J. li. Haslani presented the report of the Board of Examiners, which dealt with the curriculum for students and probationers. Conference considered the work of the Stationing Committee, and the following alterations and appointmens of ministers was accepted as the lirst reading of stations:— Auckland East (.Mount Eden) —AY. Bellliouso, chairman of tin- Otago-Sout.hhuul district, was appointed official rcpreseiilalivo io the British Methodist, Conference during his visit to England. A deputation from the New Zealand Alliance was received by the Conference which pledged itself to support the cause of the Alliance had at heart. Afiss Delight Lyn. 8.A.. All C. Barton and the Rev. E. I’. Pda mi res Resented a report in connection with Young People's work. Tt. was noted Hint the very best men in the Bible Class movement wore offering lor the ministry of the Church. Tin- Ri-v. M. A. Prait was thanked for liis work as Statistical Secretary, and the Rev. W. A. Burley was appointed in liis stead. Sunday school returns showed a gratifying increase. indicating the ooml work of the Young People's movement. A special appeal was made to all Church people to interest themselves in the Easier ramus of young people. A number of resolutions were carried for the purpose of rendering more efficient the work of the Anting People’s department.
