AUCKLAND, February 25. j> Grade. — First test selection, “Knight Errant”: Otago Field Artillery 1, New Plymouth Citizens 2, Greymoutli .Municipal 3. Others in older of merit were: Fielding Municipal, Wnilii Federal, Gisborne City. \\ bangarei. Port Auckland, Waikato Regiment, Hamilton Municipal and Onc--1 m nga.
The performances in more than one instance approached that ol A. Grade bands. Mr Code, the Judge of the B. grade, said that much of the playing was fairly even and he had difficulty in separating several of the competitors. The standard had not quite reached what he expected as the test contained in variety no outstanding difficult' even for B. grade bands. The playing in instances was of a high grade B. standard
