K, MacDonald, producer of “ Penrod and Sam,” the Booth Tarkington story "liicli hirst National recently gave to the picture-going world as a film drama follows up this success with a second tarkington story, “ Boy of .Mine,” a first Xatioual picture, directed by William Boaudinc. So pleased was Tai'kington with the screen version of Penrod and sum ” that he consented to write an original story for M'cDon»ld’s second production for First National. The result is one of the most human stories Tarkington has ever penned. “ Boy of NTino ” is a six-reel human interest drama interpreted by a well-balanced cast of big artists, including Henry B. Walthall. Irene Hich, Boekeliffo Fellowcs and Ben Alexander, the last of whom interpreted the role of “Penrod” in “Penrod and Sam.” A two-reel comedy and serial will also he shown. .Miss William’s orchestra will play a fine programme of selections, prices are as usual. Da Wednesday and Thursday next the wonder picture “The Sea Hawk” "‘hich has caused a sensation wherever shown will he presented to a Hokitika audience for two nights only. Patrons are assured of a pictorial treat.
