INFANTILE PARALYSIS
[by TF.LEGP.Arn—PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DOUBTS AT CHRISTCHURCHTn the opinion of the Medical Officer of Heatlh (Dr Telford) three cases of infantile paralysis have been located in Christchurch. However, the Christchurch Hospital authorities, who are treating the children do not consider that the presence of the disease lias been proved, beyond doubt. The cases are a hoy of eight, from Papanui, a boy of three from Spreydon. and a girl of seven, from Riccartun. MORE WANGANUI CASES. WANGANUI, Jan. 23. _ Three cases of infantile paralysis were reported boro to-day, two from the city and one from Huntcrville. EXTENSION OF RAILWAY TICKETS. AUCKLAND, Jan. 28. Then- wore throe cases ol inlantile paralysis in the city for the 24 hours ending at 9 a.m. to-day, making a total for the month of 57.
