WEDDING BELLS

Tlie wedding was solemnised by the Her. D. Hay, at Holy Trinity Church, Greymoutli, yesterday morning, of Mr George AVyndham, of Poerun, and Miss Lillian MclCissoek, of Waikaia, Otago. Mr Iv. Wills was best man, and Miss Sweet-man, bridesmaid. Mr and Mrs Wvndham left by tlie express on their honeymoon trip.

The wedding was solemnised at St. Patrick’*? Church, Gdcymouth, yess terdav morning of Mr Richard E. Condon, of Blnkctowii, and Miss Mary, youngest daughter of Mrs E. Keating of Guinness Street. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Rev. Rather O’Regan. The bride was attired in a peach French silk frock and wore a picture hat to match. She carried a shower bouquet. The bridesmaid was Miss Maureen Rohloff (niece), who wore a cream embroidered net costume and picture hat. Mr J. Condon attended his brother as best man. After the ceremony, the wedding party was entertained at the residence of the bride’s mother. Mr and Airs Condon left by this morning’s express for Christchurch and Dunedin where the monoymoon will be spent. The bride travelled in a brown tricolene costume.

A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnised at the Catholic Church, ikumatua, on Saturday, when Miss Kathleen Rea, of llukarerc, was married to Mr Philip Prendergast of Ikamai.ta. The Nuptial Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Father Herring of Recfton. The bride, who was given away by her uncle, looked charming in her bridal dross of white crepo-de-chine, trimmed with tiny rosebuds and pearls. She also wore a handsome wreath and veil, and carried a bouquet of sweet peas and maidenhair fern. The bride was attended a,s bridesmaid by Miss Eileen Foster, who wore a dainty frock of lavender crepo-dc-ehinc and a black picture hat, ■ with streamers and carried a bouquet to match her frock. Little Nancy 'Boyle and Eileen Halligali were also in attendance, the former wearing pink, and the latter primrose crore-dc-chine, and carried early Victorian posies. The duties of host man were nhlv carried out by Mr Maurice Flynn.
