ARAHURA FAT STOCK SALE. The yarding at yesterday’s fixture in tile above yards comprised 31 lat wethers and 36 fat cattle. The entry being below the usual fortnightly requirements resulted in keen competition throughout the sale with a consequent increase in prices. Prime beef made to -14 s per hundred medium quality 28s to 41s per hundred ; heifer beef made to 37s and cow beef from 23s to 31s Gd. Sheep sold well up to Addington rates. Afessrs AY. Jeffries sold as follows. On account of Air D. Roberts: Two bullocks at Cl"2 17s Gd; two at .Cl2 10s, two at £l2, two at £ll, two at CIO 12s Gd, two at CIO 10s, two at £lO 17s Gd, two at £lO. One heifer at £lO, two at £7 10s. On account of J. R Wallace: two steers at £8 17s Gd ; one cow at £7, two at £6 ss. On account of Air T. Staines: Two heifers at C 5 12s Gd, two at £5 ss; one cow at £5 10s, one at £5 ss. On account of D. McGregor one springer at £0 10s.
