DROP IN PRICES. DUNEDIN, January 21. Resumption of tile wool sales this morning revealed a difficult market, inclined to he erratic. Whilst thirty-six Pence farthing was obtained for a special lot of Corricdale, the market was generally weaker. Merinos were down as compared with the first sale by two pence to four pence and half bred was down a penny to two pence. Cross bred was down a half penny to a penny, super pieces down two pence to three pence and scouring prices down about a penny.
A FATALITY. TAL'RANGA, January 21. A. li. Cuff, an employee of Armstrong Whitworth Coy., on the railway contract, was seriously injured at Dongatote through a lull of earth forcing his head against- the under carriage of a steam navvy, lie was removed to Wnihi Hospital, but died this morning.
