AM ERICAN PARTICJPATTON. OFFICIALS’ VIEWS. .Received this day at 9«5 a.in ) WASHINGTON, Jan 16. Administration officials take the view that the United States’ participation in the Paris Finance Conference has not involved the Government in European affairs or committed it to participation in future matters of European concern. Tdlie officials do not agree with the British and French editorial expression that the Paris meeting marked the country’s entrance into European problems in the way that has been avoided in the past. They hold the claims of the situation alone made it necessary tor the United Slates to participate in the conference and failure to he represented would have relinquished her right to collect her just dues from Germany.
