SHERLOCK HOLMES. TUESDAY. The long heralded production of “Sherlock Holmes.” with John Barrymore in the title role, comes to the Princess Theatre on Tuesday with every promise, ol being one ol the most interesting films produced so far this season. The production was directed by Albert Parker, director of Douglas Fair! earlier successes, and several productions for Clara Kimball A citing and Norma Talmadge. The story is adapted from William Gillette’s stage plav and founded oil Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s stories. The picture was made in three clillerenL countriesEngland. Switzerland and America, the entire company being transported foi tho purpose. Ingenious lighting eflcclx and special settings, several of which were designed hy Barrymore himself, give the production a consistent atmosphere of mystery and suspense.
