The following are the limes of rising, setting, and meridian passage uf the principal planets calculated for the middle of the mill of December:— JITITKK rises at -Ihr !7min a.in., passes the meridian at Ohr 1 liuin p.m., and sets at 7hr l2min p.m. Jupiter will remain of apparent stellar liiagniture—1.1, during the month.
MARS rises at Ohr -Imin p.m., passes the meridian at Ohr 3iuin p.m., and sets al Ohr I2min a.in. -Bars will decrease in apparent stellar magnitude from—o.l at the beginning of the month to x (1.0 at the end of the month. SATURN will rise at 2hr .’SOmin a.m., pass the meridian at Shr 19 min a.m.. and set at -Thr ,‘Uimiu p.m. YEN US will rise at 2hr Sfimin a.m.. puss the meridian at Ohr .'Lmin a.m.. and set at -Ihr 37min p.m. The apparent stellar magnitude of Yeuus will decrease Irom-EO to-.'U from the beginning to the end of the moiiln.
