After making certain private bequests .and subject to a life interest for tin- widow, the residue of the estate will he divided equally between the Ashburton Methodist Church for Sunday School purposes, the Methodist Home Missionary Society, the Methodist Foreign Missionary So-i-.-ty. ami the Rapanui Methodist Orphanage. Ihr amount of the residue to tie divided amongst the four institutions mentioned will probably exceed £9.909.
