The trial of Iteiijamiii Harris Shutes. charged with the murder of Reginald Louis Shore on the night ol October Kith, at the Aurora Hotel, was continued. At the conclusion of the Crown's case. Mr McVeigh, for the accused, said lie did not propose to call evidence*. The statement referred to was to the effect that it was merely n coincidence that he (Shutes) bad a knife in bis band. Then be met Short in the hotel passage and that deceased struck him a heavy blow and that be (Shiites) had thrown out his bands and cut Short with bis knife.
