. CHEESE. The market has a. firmer tendency on short supnlies. The colonial market is firmer. Official quotations are:— English—Finest farmers’ 114 s to 118 s per ewt, (Is Old to Is Old per lb). Canadian—Coloured 9|s to 90s per ewt. (10(1 to 101 cl per lb) ; white 95s to flfi* per ewt, (10d to 10\d per lb). New Zealand—Coloured 91s to 95s per ewt, (1 Oil per lb) ; white 91s to 95s per ll>. The tone of llio Bradford market lias improved on account of favourable reports from Australia regarding credit and improved inquiry from Germany. Prices paid for tops, however, are Id per lb lower for all descriptions. ~
