The .Meat Export- Control Ainendinend Hill was received from tho House, put through all stages and passed. The Companies Empowering Bill, authorising the issue of labour shares, was pul through the final stages and passed without amendment. Sir Francis Bell in Itanium! the .Masters and Apprentices Amendment Bill, which was read a first time. The Council adjourned at 4.30 until 2.30 to-morrow. HOUSE OF RKPRHSHXTATIYES. The House, alter the despatch of formal business, proceeded Lo discuss tho third reading of the (laming Bill. Mr Parry moved that the Bid he recommitted for the purpose of including certain amendments. This was seconded liv Mr Holland, but was not debated. On a division tlio amendment was defeated by 40 to 24. The discussion then proceeded on the main question until 2.21) a.in. when the Hill was passed without division and the House rose till 2.30 p.in.
