AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CAULE ASSOCIATION X.Z. AND LONDON. LONDON. Oct. 22. Mr Galpin. “oN.E.” of Herne Bay. has picked up a New Zealand wireless sender. “-IA.A.” at 6.10 a.m. to-day. who was calling “Goyder.” The signals were weak, but clear and distinct: but there was considerable jamming by Ibiti-h amateurs who are trying to get into touch with New Zealand. LONDON, Oct. 21. Sir James Allen is asking the amateurs who picked up Mr Bell’s New Zealand greetings to attempt to broadcast thanks to Mi' Bell to-morrow.
