Indignation is expressed that the German hankers are called on to take up less than one-thirtieth of the loan, despite tho German gold secreted abroad. GERMAN LOAN. The British portion of the German loan of twelve million sterling is being underwritten in 7 per cent. 3.i-yenr sinking fund bonds, issued at 92 and allotted as follows:—;" per cent, on application, 2:7 early in November, 30 early in December, and 32 early in January. The authoritative opinion on the Stock Exchange is that the loan will go quickly.
