An alarm of fire was given at Kiniu

T lie tlaines bad a good hold when discovered and the building was soon a seething mass of flames., The fire spread rapidly and enveloped the whole building, and spread to the Itimu Heading ltomn alongside, both buildings being demolished. Practically nothing was saved from the hotel. The promises of Mr M. Casliman. storekeeper on the south side, separated bv a right-of-way, was in grave <!nnger. and was badly scorched.
