Paris firemen were called this morning to le-fiio a young wrrkgirl. Mho. Henrietta Hermann. Having quarrelled with her parents, she climbed out of the sixth floor window and threatened to throw herself into the street helo'v. The .father rushed to warn the police. "You go hark,” was their reply, -‘and keep arguing with her and we will get the fire escape The father did what he was told and Mile. Hermann postponed her jump so as to have the last word in the family dispute. However, she suddenly found herself seized round the waist hy a fireman and hauled down the escape to the street, where she was lectured by it police Inspector and sent Vs.uk to lief ptumpts. weeping null vepciihTtl.
