The newspapers comment on the significance of the Labour Party's decision to hold an extensive platform campaign beginning on September 14, in favour of the Russian Treaty. It is suggested the Labour Party fears the extent of opposition to the Treaty by the Liberals and Conservatives will render ratification doubtful. In that event, the Labour (iovornment may appeal to the country. SOME OF THE OPPOSITION. LONDON, Sept. 5. The Association of British Creditors of Russia have adopted a resolution urging Parliament not to ratify the Russian Treaty, oil the grounds that it fails to .provide adequate compensation for losses and injury to British subjects, and grants the Soviet unjustifiable and dangerous privileges.

A communique issued by Oeneral Hoi claims Che Kinng completely routed (ieneral Kiaugsu ttl llwangtu, lo miles from Ilanghai and advanced six miles. He also claims that two entire companies of the crack Sixth Division, persotiallv commanded by Chi, were captured, with all equipment.
