A circular regarding the grading ol cream has liceu issued to all dairy farmers mi behalf of all the dairy lactone* of the Canterbury district. It stales that all laetories will grade cream as received at the tactory into two grades:—-(1) All sweet or sour cream of clean llavnur upon arrival at the factory ; C-'l all cream, which, upon arrival at the factory, is not suitable for the manufacture of first grade flutter ii churned separately. Any cream upon arrival at tile factory which in the opinion of tin* factory manager is unlit for human consumption, shall bo rejected as unsuitable for the manufacture of butter and destroyed and not paid for. The regulations will take effect oil all cream received by l.lie factories on and after Sepiendier 1.
