In the Court thi- morning Collins declared that the evidence given was an utter fabrication, lie admitted that he had jokingly suggested smoking, but personally he did not smoke. .Jensen smoked," and was reprimanded. j| { . did not intend Jensen or the other inmates present to take his icmaiks seriollslv.
The officials stated they regarded Collins as a disturbing element and a professional agitator. Collins, further questioned by Constable Doyle, denied having provoked or incited any inmates to commit breaches.
The bench imposed a sentence of fourteen days confinement on bread and water.
