An eight-roomed residence at Epsom, Auckland, owned and occupied by Mrs A. H. Wilson, was extensively damaged by fire last night. Three rooms were gutted and a good deal of furniture destroyed. The cause was an electric iron left ett the table with the power switched on.

accused over in his own recognisance to conic up for sentence in February. If Ids matrimonial affairs were cleared up by then nothing more would lie heard about the matter.
