and also rejected nip addition to rule do, dealing with an alteration in the date of any meeting, of a provision that the approval of the President of the Association of such alteration shall not he given until ihe clubs in the same district have been notified and given an opportunity to lodge objection. It was decided to l ar altogether the assumed name of owners in trotting. Mr Xico.ll was elected Pietidcut and Mr Howe (Auckland) viie-] resident. Messrs ];, S. Irwin. 11. It. Mae. Kenzio. and C. M. Ollivier were reelected to the executive.
Kesolilticni.s p.rojaiscd, dealing with In: ndiug and registration of horses, were referred to the executive. The resolutions proposed that tin* fullest details must he provided in application for registration and for compulsory branding. It was losolved to add the following to Hide 11(1: ‘•Provided I'm ther that when a horse has been legistered under the nge of two years ii shall he registered on arriving at that age. and the application for re-regi-t ration shall comply in all respects with the oiiginal ap| Iciation for registration. Hide lo.'l is to he altered to provide that lhe owners of registered trotting horses shall notify forthwith the Association in the event of the death of such horses.
