WEST COAST RUGBY UNION. At a meeting of the Committee of the West Coast Rugby Union held at Greymouth last night, Air E. AY. lleoiian was appointed as referee for the Grey-AYestland match from the names submitted hv the AYestlanil •Sub-Union.
A letter wa sreceivcd from the AYcstland Sub-Union regarding the houndary question. It was decided to go into the mutter at Hokitika on Saturday.
An invitation was received from the Btiller Union to send a West Coast rep team to play Puller on July 12. It was decided to reply that the date was not acceptable at present, as it would interfere with club fixtmc.s. A match would bo considered when the season was more advanced. The Golden Bay Union advised the ii.idii-.tiatiou of July 20, as a suitable date, for the fieddon Shield match. It was resolved to further eonfinunieate with the Union stating that it was desired to have July 1!) for the date, so as to have the best team available. Further, it would he the hist time that Steel would lie seen in action before leaving for England. X. Z. Union advised that Joseph Dynes and J. McCabe had been expelled ftom Rugby ami that no further future application for reinstatement by these players would he entertained.
