A four hall golf match between Hagen and MaeDonald-Sniith (of America) and Duncan and Mitchell of England) takes place on July 11. Apart from the bundled pounds in stake money attached to the match, which has keen provided hv an enthusiastic golfer, all the players have made large hots upon the game. Ilngen has won £SOO sterling by one ten to one hot against his recent victory in the English Open Championship at Haylake. and he is investing the whole of this £BOO in bets on the forthcoming match.
