A recoul of the operations uf the Official seedtesting station, at AA’clliugton, in 1923-21. is contributed by N. R. Foy, who blends statistical matter with interesting comment. The present is the first complete annual record of the work of the station to he published. The results of the testing of a further series of samples of New Zealand grown w heats is reported by L. D. Foster. milling qualities being specially dealt with in the present article. .T. AV. ("alder records an experiment carried out at Lincoln to ascertain the best stage for cutting wheat. Lists of the grading averages n! butter and cheese factories for 1923-2-1, will he scanned with special interest by dairy farmers and factory managers. Taranaki factories bead the list in both butter and cheese, with a North Dingo eoinpnnv as runner-up in the butler branch.' The issue is completed by the regular monthly lentures.
