At Wimbledon, the Dutch pair appear hopelessly outclassed to the left handers who were much more powerful at the nets and overhead. Brookes’ old placing power was as evident as ever. His partner, the American Fischer, used a strong serrice and fine smashes, but was inclined to he weak off the ground.
