The whine will supply a very complete and handsome suite of clufi-rooms, while the cloak rooms and side entrance will be a special acquisition to the hall in connection with private parties, dances, halls or other social gatherings. The Soldiers' Hall itself is very popular with the public, A special floor tor dancing was put in when the building won moved to ic> present site, oml is being kept in first class order. Votorics enjoying dancing describe it as the finest floor of it* kind in the district. When the front dressing rooms are provided, the rear anteroom will he used for storage and as a smoking room between dances. At present the annexe or portion ol the supper room lias to lie used lor storage
purposes. Tut- building scheme when carried into final effect will ensure a veiv line ball and chib room lor the town. In order to’make the Club room portion more generally useful, it isprnp »ed to admit honorary or associate members to the < bib. drawn from the civilian ranks. There is the need for such a place of regulated rendezvous here - , and’ the • room* should lv.- a popular meeting place at nights.
