The “Daily Chronicle” states a romantic ciaim to the Angcll Benedict Estate, in South London, valued at sixty millions sterling, is being made on behalf of William Allcry, an eighty-year-old tailor. Allerv’s agent states that he lias obtained the highest legal opinion, which supports his claim. A fund of five thousand pounds is being raised to defray the costs of application. The subscribers arc promised a return of one thousand per cent on their contributions in the event of the claim being successful. .
