The Westland Hospital Board is being pointed to, as the model Board of the Dominion. This is wholely due to the generosity of the good people of Hokitika and district, as is evidenced by the list of donors published to-day, who have given another £270 to the Building Fund. There is yet required the sum of £BOO to complete the furnishing of the new ward and the nurses quarters. Tho Board proposes making a further appeal to the public of Westland for this amount and they have not the slightest doubt as to tho result when this appeal is made that it will meet with the ready response that the good old AYcst Coasters are famous for.
