AVESTLAND SUB-UNION. AIONDAY, JUNE lOtli. The Sub-Union met last evening at 8 o’clock. Presont—Messrs F. ArcGrcgor (Chairman), Cutbusb, Dowell. Moore. Bannister, Lynch, Howat, Stafford. Lovett, Jones. Coulson. Breeze, and Hoennu (Secretary). The minutes were confirmed as amended and outward correspondence approved.
TN WARD CORR ESI’OX DENC.K. From F. AfoGrogor resigning scat on the Judicial Commit too.— Received. .Members expressed regret and asked that the decision lie reconsidered. From Arahtirn. Club asking in connection with the appointment of referees. that they ho allowed to mi limit tho names of three referees for selection from.—Received, ft was resolved that tho action of the Relerees Association bn upheld and that the letter be sent on to them for consideration. From Kiwi Club asking permission to withdraw their previous letter, which had not the approval oT the Club.— Received. It was resolved that the letter he returned, the Union appreciating the later action of the Club. The Referees reports were read and considered satisfactory. Referee Monro asked that the goal lines he marked more distinctly. The request to he attended to. From Borough Council asking for a grant of £ls towards cost of draining the eastern playing area, to make it more suitable for use.—Received: request granted, subject to the grant (icing taken as part payment of the gate reeeipts per eentage, the Secretary and Treasurer to arrange. An application for transfer by aplayer from Harihari Club to the Excelsior Club, was granted. FIXTURES FOR JUNE 21st. JUNIORS. Excelsiors v. Kiwi, at 1.30 p.m.,— Air S. Moore. Ross v. R.imu, at Rimu—Air IV. A. AViLson. Runtapu v. Aralmra at Runtapu.— Air J. Phillips. Harihari v. Kokatalii. at Harihari. THIRD GRADE. School v. Kiwi.—Air S. A\ . Richardson. SENIOR FIXTURES. To be arranged on AVodnesday night. Accounts submitted were passed for payment. The Secretary was authorised to select two gold medals donated by Afessr.s Newman Bros. The resignation of Air J- Breeze as Treasurer was received lull was not dealt with. H was resolved that the gate receipts for next Saturday ho donated to an injured player. The meeting then terminated.
