Tlic-e considerations are perfectly clear to all who look beyond the immediate present and take into account wider factors than .those which affect individual interests. By some means the nation must secure the harmonious < o-operatieii of the workers or perish, and those who foment strife by the promulgation of economic fallacies arc in exactly the same position as malcontents who persuade the hands on a sinking ship to leave the pumps.
