The jumble sale at Kokatahi oil Wednesday afternoon attracted a large attendance and there was a ready disposal of the large array of gootls placed on sale. In the evening there was again a large attendance, and a very onjovble dance resulted. The proceeds of the day proved very satisfactory to the promoters.
The funeral of the late Miss Lucy Dale took place this morning and was followed by a large assemblage of friends. The services at All Saints Church and the graveside were coniine .oil by the Rev. Tobin. A large number of wreaths and floral tributes were placed on the grave from sorrowing friends.
