The Rolico asked for a further remand, as they would not fie able to go on with the ease until tho Government Bacteriologist’s report was to hand. Mr Stevenson, defending, said that tlio application was rather indefinite. In tlie Cooper ease tho report look two mouths to obtain. Tho polico should nob wait until a considerable time had elapsed before gohig on with tho case. The only light that iho bacteriologists evidence could throw was whether certain blood stains nro human blood or other blood.
Chief Detective Kemp said they hoped tlio report would be ready in a fi 11tjiglit. The Magistrate adjourned the case for a week.
