“SLANDER THE WOMAN.” TO-NIGHT. The usual good Monday programme will bo again presented at the Princess Theatre to-night, headed by a special First National cntitldU “Slander the Woman,” and starring Dorothy Phillips, and assisted by the great English artist Lewis Dayton. The picture .deals with scandal and the story of a girl whom the fiery tongues of scandal had seared and burned—the story of her fight to regain her good name. The scenes are laid in aristocratic ancestral halls, and the open spaces of the great snow country in the far north, the drama moves with tremendous power and surging emotions. The supports are a two-reel comedy, aim further episodes of the great serial, "The Social Buccaneer,” orchestral selections and usual prices. On Wednesday, Australia’s greatest bush drama “ When the Kelly’s Were Out.” One of the most astounding pieces of Australian history—the stormy period of lis'S-ISSO when the Kelly gang terrorised the countryside—has been depicted in a manner that brings thrills to all who see it. It is pnsihly one of the finest examples of Australian production to date and tells a real life story in a way that leaves nothing to be desired. On Thursday next everybody's favourite, dnekv Coogan, will appear in his latest big success, entitled “ Daddy.”
