A Wellington party proceeding to Rotorua, Mrs T. M. Norton, Miss J. Norton and sister Kathleen, aged seven years,-M. A. Kelly and J. O. .Mathaway yesterday afternoon a few miles from Pahiatua met with an accident resulting in the car turning a somersault. -Mrs Norton suffered a fractured collarbone, Kelly bruises and shock. Both were removed to tho hospital. Hathaway sustained slight injuries and the others escaped. FOUND DEAD. CHRISTCHURCH, April 22 Last night, a man named H. P. Goodenough, about 40 years, residing at 11 Cowlishaw St., was found dead on River road, Avonside. It is not known how death occurred. It is presumed lie was knocked down by a motor ear.

ALLIANCE OF LABOUR. 'WELLINGTON, April 22. A meeting of the Alliance of Labour is being held this afternoon for the purpose of considering the situation. The National Council met at 2.30 p.m.
