At the Supreme Court, before Mr Justice Sulmond, Roy William Spencer, was sentenced to three years' imprisonment for breaking and entering, and one year for theft. William Bradley, for false pretences and forgery was sentenced to live years imprisonment. The Crown Prosecutor said that accused’s actions were deliberate. He had been issuing valueless cheques all over the country. 1 Alexander Frank Moulin, for arson, was sentenced to reformative detention for one year. Thomas Victor Noble, for theft of money, was admitted to two years’ probation. Henry Augustus Scott, for converting money to his own use was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment. David Borne for theft of money from his partner, received one year’s proln t.ion.
