DISCUSSION IN COMMONS. (“Sydney Sun” Cables). (Received this dav at JO a.in.) LONDON, April 1. Mr Thomas interrogated in the Commons, denied that colonial officials at Hongkong would take part in recruiting Chinese labour for Narua.

Mr Lunn said attention had not been called to a complaint of the British Trade Commissioner in New Zealand that British manufacturers did not pass oil to others the orders and inquiries which they considered too small for their own works.
