The Board met yesterday at 3.30 p.m. Present —Hon. 3-1. ! Jj. Michel, (Chairman), J. Tjloyd, J. H. A\ ilson. and J. It. Grierson. 'l'lie minutes were confirmed and outward correspondence approved. IN W Alt D COB It ESPONDKNCE, From Borough of Westport asking particulars of formation of Fire Board. —Received; already supplied. From l’ost and Telegraph Department in reference to phone charges for Fire Brigade.—Received; referred to Wellington Conference. From Department of Internal Affairs forwarding account for lire hose supplied—Received. From S. W. ltidlaml, nightwatclmian. asking for some concession in connection with his duties, including the touching the tell-tale clock button once an hour instead of every quarter of an hour.—Received and referred to town members to deal with. The 'Jell-talc Clock record showed only one discrepancy during the period. Received as very satisfactory. Accounts amounting to £B6 os, were passed for payment. 'l’lie Treasurer reported receipts £152 13s 2d; payments £127 Os 7d: credit balance £l2l O.s 7d. The meeting then closed.
