WELLINGTON SUB-UNION. AIONDAY, Alarcli 31st. Tho Sub-Union met at 8 p.m. Present:—Alessrs AlcGregor (Chairman), Stafford, Bain, Cutbush, Aloore, Breeze, Jones, Howat, Levott, AA cods, Bannister, Lynch and Heenau (Secretary). The minutes were confirmed and outward correspondence approved. INWARD CORRESPONDENCE. From Kiwi Club asking for permission to play an opening match with Alarist,s on Saturday next.—Received and request granted. From Wairarapa Club re appointment of Manager of N.Z. touring team. —Received. From Kumara Club asking for transfer from Westland to Greymouth Centre. Received and alter discussion a motion was carried icfusing the application. Nominations for the various grades were received as follows:

Seniors—Kiwi, Kokatabi, Excelsiors, Ilariliari.

Juniors—Ruatapu, Kiwi, Excelsior, Ross Rjmu. Araliura, Harihari, Kokatahi.

Third grade.—Excelsior A and B, Kiwis A and B, State School, Araliura. The nominations were considered very satisfactory. It was resolved that Kumara Club be given till Alonday to nominate for the competitions. Opening day was fixed lor April 12th, an amendment to set senior fixtures down till Alay being lost. A deputation from the State School team, consisting of Messrs AlcCullough. and Beck waited on the Union, asking if assistance would be given to enable the school team to visit Invercargill this year for the primary schools competitions. The Chairman said the Union would do all in its power to assist the. tour. It was resolved that the fixture Committee consist of one delegate from each Club and meet at 7 p.m. on Afnnday next. It was resolved that the Beautifying Association take the opening gate, in aid of their funds.

Ruatapu asked that their colors maroon and white he altered to bine and gold. Agreed to. The meeting then terminated.
