Wanganui made a draw of their game with the New South W ales team, the weather was splendid yesterday, and the attendance wa.s over 2.000. Ihe wicket lasted well. The visitors scored slowly in the morning, hut alter lunch tiicv livened up considerably. Their innings closed for 395. Tlendry and Oldfield topped th? century, and Amldrews made a score by brilliant batting in quick time. At the call of time the Wanganui batsmen lost eight for 102. the latter batsmen being content to play the bowling.
