LONDON, March II The “Daily Mail,” in a leader, says that it is painfully clear the Government lias no specific lor (lie grave disease of unemployment and has nothing to suggest hut larger doles for nil, resulting in further demands upon the taxpayer ami manufacturer. It draws attention to the price of exports which have increased by eightynine per cent above pre-war, whereas the imports have increased only fiftythree per cent. Our productions arc dear productions, and that is probably the fundamental cause of the unemployment to which is added tiie monstrous taxes, enormous rates, constant strikes, and low output. The importation of many kinds of British goods is forbidden by Germany; yet no British Government has lifted a linger to stop such intolerable abuse.
