WEDDING BELLS

K LYO--LITTLE. The wedding took place yesterday at .S’, John's Presbyterian Church, Grevnif.utli. when Miss Helen Little, only daughter of Dr and Mrs Little of Blackball. was married to* Dr.' Russell King, of Christchurch, youngest son of Mrs and the late James King, of Timaru. There was a large attendance and much interest taken in the event. The cerelrn ny was conducted by the Rev. T. X. Cuttle, and Miss Skoglund was organist. The bride entered the tfturch on file arm of her father hy whon she '■as later given away. She looked charming in a. dress of ivory crepe benute with georgette sleeves, made perfectly plain. She also wore a Dutch banner, trimmed with silver, and the orthodox veil and orange blossoms, and carried a beautiful bouquet. She was attended as bridesmaid by Miss Louleoi Campbell, of Blackball, who was attractively attired in shell pink georgette over pink satin, the sleeves hanging from the shoulders to tho bottom of tho skirt, and the dress being trimmed with silver beads. Her bat was of pale pink georgette and silver, with long silver streamers, finished with rosebuds. She also carried a bouquet. ]'•]■. A. Johnston, of Christchurch, attended to the host- man's duties.

Di and Mrs King left later hy motor cm on their honeymoon. The bride's travelling dress was a navy blue onepiece frock, with navy georgette and Oriental trimming, and a navy blue hat with Egyptian trimmings. I ’ATTER SOX—ELLER Y. A full muster of the .Salvation Army at Grey mouth yesterday, provided a guard of honour at the wedding of Mr Charles Gordon Patterson, sou of Mr and Mrs J. Patterson, of Reefton. to Miss Myrtle Ellery, daughter of AT; and Mrs H. V. Ellery, of Blaketown, which took place at the Salvation Army Hall, Guinness Street. Ensign Lanibcrton conducted the ceremony. The bridesmaid was Aliss Esther Ellery, and the duties of best man were carried out by Air A. West. A reception was held at the residence of the bride’s parents, where the usual toasts were honoured. Air and Airs Patterson left by the express for Christchurch and Wellington, on their honeymoon. They wjll reside at Grey mouth.
