LATE LOCALS.
Mi 11. Al. C'oulson, member of the Hokitika Borough Council, who is now ii, AA'ellington, interviewed the Hon. Minister of Public- Health in reference to tlie sewage scheme for the Borough of Hokitika. Air C’oulson pointed out the difficulties of drainage and the extraordinary cost involved in ft satisfactory scheme. The Minister recognised the difficulties ahead of the Council m arranging for finance, and was most sympathetic in bis remarks. Mr Coulsou considers that tho result of the into: view is very satisfactory, and will report to the Council in full on his return. The Hon. Minister will be on t] u . Coast on the 14th. of next month.
