The annual sports of the Ross Swimming Club were held in the Coronation Baths on Saturday last. There was a large gathering of spectators, while no miualions for all the races were good. '! he Club i.s indebted to a large number of competitors wlu> travelled from Hokitika. and helped to make the day such a. success. All races were well competed for, and there "ere many very close finishes. .During the progt ess of the sports, afternoon tea. was provided for the competitors.
