The Archbishop of A ork addressing the Convocation, said the bishops and clergy would follow the proceedings of H>e new Parliament with prayerlul inteiest. The Convocation regarded the advent of the Labour Parly with no gloomy apprehension. The Arehbishop hoped and believed that education in responsibility would bring to the Lahour Party and Government strength, «x)ttri,et,y and width of 'outlook. Tt might lie that a new voice on behalf of the peace of Kurope spoken hy the Government, very specially representing the workers of Britain, might win new response from the workers of other nations.
