“.MISSING HUSBANDS,” AND CAR in: SEMO.N TO-NIGHT.

•'.Missing Husbands,” an elaborate drama adapted from " L’Atlautide” by Ute mu-.ier of Freneli fieiion is to be shown at the Princess Tlieatro tonight. A woman as compelling in charm as Cleopatra, is found in the character of Antigen, queen of an osaia kingdom in the Sahara, who played with men’s hearts as she toyed with the tropical flowers that grew within her gardens. Two explorers of the French army meet her and she falls in love with one, who repulses her advances. The other insanely jealous, kills his comrade, only to find that his love for Antinea is dead. He attempts to kill her and then flees into lire desert. After being found and again declared fit for service, with two brother officers find the desert Queen whom he realises he loves and cannot forget. The sellings in ‘‘Missing I! ii.-bands” especially in the palace of Antinea. arc superb and breathe in extreme extravagance ihe splendour and grandeur of another world.

The second star in this evening's programme is the great l.arry Semon in his huge laughter-maker, entitled “Golf.” The Orchestra will supply the musical programme.
