The filial proved a great tussle, and right up to the last head the lesult was in doubt. In the first few heads. Mitchell seemed to get the better ol the game, but iiedpath drew level, and front thence onwards it was either team’s game. Both Cherry and Mitchell played some very fine shots, but Redpath’s seemed the steadier ol the paid, and well disserved to win. The scores were eight each on the tenth bead, and fifteen each on the seventeenth. Twenty each was the tally on the twenty-first. Rcdpath then got a trio and a brace Mitchell winding up with two singles.
